Biographical or Historical Information
The Priests’ Association of the Diocese of Charleston (PADC), a voluntary association open to all priests of the diocese, was founded in 1972. Its mission is to support the clergy of the diocese in their priestly life and ministry by providing a forum to express concerns and then communicate them to the bishop, his curia, and his councils. The PADC works to develop new initiatives that further the missions of the diocese. The PADC is also a member of the National Federation of Priests’ Councils.
