Scope and Contents
This collection consists of original and photocopied materials regarding Immaculate Conception School. Materials were gifted to the archives by Barbara Simmons circa 2000, and officially accessioned on 21 July 2009. The collection is divided into three series; Mr. and Mrs. Thaddeus Simmons, Barbara Simmons, and Reference materials. Mr. and Mrs. Simmons materials include their high school diplomas; two (2) original copies of Beacon Light; two (2) event programs; and a vinyl recording of the school song, "Dear I.C.S" Barbara Simmons' materials include her kindergarten graduation and second grade promotion certificates; one (1) event program; three (3) graduation photographs; and sheet music for 'Dear I.C.S. Reference materials include two (2) photocopied pictures of Barbara Simmons' family when she attended Immaculate Conception School; an Immaculate Conception High School book cover; and various materials regarding the history of Immaculate Conception School.

Biographical or Historical Information
Barbara Simmons attended Immaculate Conception School from c.1953-1967. Her parents, Thaddeus Alvin Simmons and Dorothy Noisette Simmons both attended Immaculate Conception school, graduating in 1938 and 1940. Materials in this collection represent two generations of Immaculate Conception School.
